The Bihar government will construct an elevated road from Mithapur to Mahuli in Patna district to ease traffic moving towards south Bihar districts, as per news reports.
It will connect the Patna-Gaya-Dobhi four-lane road, which is under construction, and also the Bihta-Sarmera Road. Plans for the elevated road were discussed in detail at a review meeting of the road construction department (RCD) chaired by chief minister Nitish Kumar at his 1 Aney Marg official residence on Tuesday afternoon.
